We will be having a program called Blessing of the Backpacks in August (date TBD yet) for the 2024/2025 school year. This is a program where we give away backpacks and school supplies to school age children and youth in the Indian River Community and surrounding areas. This program helps the children/youth meet with success as they start the new school year.
We need donations to order to purchase school supplies and backpacks. If you would like to support this much needed and worthwhile program for our community children/youth please donate through the GLOW Community Center website and designate it for Blessings of the Backpacks.

God’s Light in Our World is a Community Center that seeks to serve the people of Indian River and Cheboygan Country by offering a safe environment to gather, learn, and interact with each other.
